>>47769711>Anyone that complains about the existence of RNG lacks humanity or depthNo it’s the other way around.
RNGfags genuinely believe games can’t be fun or have different outcomes without a computer randomly deciding some value that benefits you or your opponent. RNGfags are also 100% fucking bootlickers. Instead of having to admit the developers of a game made a mistake with how they implemented RNG, they’ll make claims like it adding to the gameplay or tell people the classic “if you don’t like this 1 mechanic in a game you like, you should just go play any other game” or even “git gub”. I have seen many faggots that practically are not human that defend random crits in TF2 and who defend the bullshit RNG of X-Com where literally holding a gun to an enemy’s head doesn’t have 100% accuracy.
Reality is that humans don’t need a computer telling them what to do or changing something during a match to make it more interesting. They can be creative and unpredictable on their own, and that unpredictableness by humans carries more depth than the RNG you claim will.
Sure, some games like Poker or Rogue-likes would not function without RNG, but Pokemon doesn’t need RNG to even function, and unlike those games, RNG won’t screw you over with how easy it is to not get Haxed.
If you don’t want to be critted, your only options are Lucky Chant that lasts almost no time and does nothing else, or have Shell/Battle Armor that is found on only some Pokemon that aren’t even good and will also do fucking nothing else as well.
If you don’t want to miss, you need either Hone Claws that is also rare, use an item that doesn’t even increase accuracy by that much and does nothing else, or have the rare Compound Eyes/No Guard and both do nothing else.
If you want to avoid random secondary effects, your only option is Shield Dust, which will only protect you against the 100% secondary effects like Fake Out, and again, is only found on shitmons.
