That would add more development time and costs because they'd have to not only program the game to use different cries depending on the game's language (and likely go the extra mile to have those cries be unique based on the language the Pokemon was obtained from, adding even more perfectionist autism), but also get about FIVE (5) Voice Actors minimum for a single species of Pokemon in most cases in order to record all the necessary lines for every possible instance.
And the fact they'd need to do this for over 500 species and variations minimum makes the demand even worse.
They'll never do it even though it would finally close the gap between games and anime because it's far too much effort and money.

And I still hate it
How anyone actually prefers Charizard saying "Char-Charizard!" in some dude's voice instead of roaring and hissing and screeching is beyond me.

Everyone hates it, even the kids, but it worked like a charm to get them to remember Pokemon's names so they can piss and shit at their parents over exactly what kind of Pokemon toy they want from the store.

The beeping cries absolutely should have been phased out as soon as hardware allowed it. I'd prefer they went the Pokken direction and just give Pokemon "monster noise" voices. Maybe allow a couple of the more iconic Pokemon like Jigglypuff to stay their names, to make Pikachu less weird.
