do you even need a strategy for the gen 8 tower
they not only dumbed the out of it but also allowed the use of banned mons. just lifting the restriction would've been sufficient, what the fuck were they thinking

Literally any set up sweeper or OP dynamax mon. The fact that every other mon runs protect just gives you free set up turns and the AI only attempts to counter team you a small handful of times; more often then not you'll matched against mons that are weak to your sweeper.
