You can gamble with getting Covid and then gamble on how severe your infection is, or you can gamble with the vaccine. The Covid risks are, statistically, pretty low. But on that same thread, statistically the odds you'll develop a long term complication from the vaccine is even lower. Hopefully nothing bad happens, but I guess we'll see.
I don't think you should have to get the vaccine, and I don't think it should be forced on people. However, I think there should be events/bars/etc where only vaccinated people are allowed entry. You can still get infected, but the odds are much lower, and the infection is much less dangerous (relatively speaking).
