>>47793101when i say 'in a pokeball' i mean 'has been captured and is a registered pokemon to the trainer' and as such is obligated to take orders, subject to whatever gym badges do to make things obey, etc. regardless of the actual physical location of the pokemon, whether she's in the ball or at the trainer's side.
when do they destroy their own pokeballs? and what of the thousands that don't? Ash's pikachu doesn't like the ball, but it was still captured by one at one point and its still registered to Ash, as Ash attempted to return Pikachu to the ball during his first fight with Brock.
I'm also not saying its a fool proof, mindbreaking style of control when a pokemon gets captured. but there is obviously some sort of obligation as even pokemon who are captured beyond their trainer's ability to control don't abandon or attack that trainer, just make a point of ignoring it.
also, how would a pokemon putting itself into a pokeball thats not registered to a trainer work? do pokeballs even work if they're not registered? can a pokemon be a pokemon trainer?
>movie Mewtwoi feel thats an extreme enough case to set aside as an exception to the rule. it should be noted that even though his special pokeballs captured already captured pokemon he also didn't control them
