As the western middle class continues to crumble, people are fighting for a seat on the lifeboats, and cancel culture is a tool subconsciously used to eliminate competition. That's why people are never redeemed even if they were falsely accused, e.g. Quinton Flynn, Swifty, Nairo, Vic Mignogna, to name some gaming/anime examples, also Johnny Depp. Morality is not the true explanation for what's happening, and even if it was, it is a dysfunctional morality that lacks essential values of forgiveness, salvation, and redemption.
