What do Christians in the Pokemon world believe? Did God make Arceus to create the world, or is it an evil demon trying to steal his glory? Is owning certain Pokemon sinful if it might entail contacting the dead or other sinful practices?

Christ has technically been made incarnate in the Pokémon universe because of the Christmas episodes in the anime. And because Ash-Greninja is proof the games and anime touch, it is reasonable to conclude he existed in the games' world as well. He probably existed long ago in the Israel region. Arceus being a god is no different than all of the other false gods. The Holy Trinity is the true God and Arceus is just some Pokémon god who created shit like any other sentient being.

Raising ghost Pokémon is not a sin. If you used them for evil purposes then it would be.

The early interpretation of the Pokémon world was that they started appearing in recent times and you were a kid in 1996 Kanto, Japan. It probably existed with maybe a couple miracles attributed to a Pokemon.

In general though, the Japanese find the Christianity stuff cool, but don't actually believe in it so things show up like Santa Claus and Dante's Inferno angels and demons.

Interesting, but I think ghost Pokemon are sinful at least in some people’s view, hence Misty holding the cross. Though maybe it’s just that species.

Christinaity. Otherwise they wouldn't be christians, they'd have a different religion and thus not qualify to be christians.
Likely the case as the history of the pokemon world might differ to ours(unless you go by the original games in which case the question is moot as the answer is christianity)
