>>47797029I think megas are kind of a shit mechanic overall with how they handled them (there's a lot of potential for cool stuff though), but the fact that more than half the designs are less visually appealing than the originals is the real reason GF shitcanned them.
Everyone wanted their bromon to get a mega, but that feeling of getting one that ruins the design and sometimes only makes it slightly less of a struggle to use in battle was as bad as nothing at all.
