for some reason they seem to want to backtrack on the two-steps-removed-from-the-mainline that made colo interesting, so the next game shoves in a 10 year old protag again, a lighter plot, brighter areas, and does the weird thing the mainline games now do where everything is a Poke-Spot or a Poke-Snack etc etc etc as if the entire world is a Pokemon theme park
also god kind of suffers for deciding to re-use the old stadium models, which look out of place. colo did a good job using only colo2 and newly generated models - stadium 1 models often look weirdly archaic when you put them next to the others
