>>47801568I've just been now catching up on the game mechanic changes made in Sword and shield and it's driving me fucking nuts. It's like they decided they wanted to balance things or fix things finally to make the game more approachable, but it's a complete crapshoot what got changed or why. All of these moves and Pokemon got deleted for no reason, the regional bird is suddenly a pure flying type even though it makes no sense, all these older complicated evolution methods that were actually interesting gameplay wise and added depth just get fixed with a stone but then we have even more complicated evolution methods for the new Pokemon, they buffed defog even more and went after Pokemon like Aegislash and Mimikyu who are only overpowered for noobs, All of these unique form-changing items or methods are just something that you find like Rotom changes through a key item now.... Where is the charm in any of this shit? Where is the soul?
It's just mind-numbingly crazy how unimaginative, incompetent, lazy and just straight up misguided GF can be. It's like they'll take two steps forward and one step back every fucking opportunity they get. You would think with the original fans now being old enough to be the developers on this game, and they are, it would be shaping up to be more like something the fan base has wanted. But it's not. I am so glad I skipped on this game. A lot of these changes actually piss me off
