It's annoying enough when Game Freak plays favorites, but Dexit was taking it too far. It's bad enough when Charizard gets 2 megas while other starters got nothing, now Game Freak is saying that 26% of Pokemon aren't even allowed to exist while Charizard is the God of Galar. By erasing Pokemon from the main series, Game Freak is saying that some Pokemon don't deserve to exist, and by extension saying that some fans don't deserve to exist).
The biggest irony is that the only reason fans are so angry about Dexit is because Game Freak did an amazing job at creating creature that people can get attached to and emphasize with.

That's the worst part. Now every game thus far will pretty much be a pissing contest over which Pokemon are allowed to exist. (Think about the Roster-fagging that goes on in the Smash Community and multiply that by a thousand).
Also we all know, that Genwunners will never suffer the indignity be being told that they're first starter was unworthy of existing, which is why Genwunners have been so obnoxious this gen, though honestly Cinderacefans have been far FAR worse due to being shilled and pandered to more in 1 year than Charizard as in the first 5 generations.
Dexit Ruined the Franchise, it's a simple as that.
