The only info at this point we can get is negative, i.e. removals. It's feeling like it may be even worse than a simple "1:1" would imply, especially being blitzed out by a separate company.

I actually would love to be surprised for once in a while. I go watch a movie, I know everything cause of trailers. I play a game, I know what will happen because of trailers. Keep it this way. If you're cheap and don't want to "risk" your money just wait for day 1 reviews.

GF is of the mindset that Legends will cannibalize the sales of BDSP because they release two months apart. They’re going to promote it as little as possible until the holidays, and then market the shit out of it in the two months before release

That’s kind of their own fault for release i Legends so early, holding it back a few months would give BDSP a chance to shine while giving them more time ti make Legends good (or Nintendo’s fault, depending on who controls the release schedule)

Ultimately no-one here can really say for certain.

It could be because they're trying to reduce hype after SWSH. Even though sales figures are high, I have a hard time believing they didn't see the waves of outrage that continue to drove each one of their Twitter posts.
It could be because in the past they revealed too much with USUM so they're trying a different marketing strategy
It could also be because the games are below average and they know it.

Again, without proof there's nothing that can be definitively figured out. It sucks and I hate the uncertainty. I'm hoping a new trailer comes out now that Unite and Snap had their big announcements.

Reminder that demanding proof from leakers gives you more journalistic integrity than actual game journos

Pretty much. We already know that the GTS is cut because it’s a feature of Pokémon Home now. We also know Pal Park and the whole “insert FRLG/RSE into your DS’s GBA slot and certain Pokémon will appear in certain locations” function is impossible to bring back too. The only things they could reasonably tell us are either things we knew 15 years ago, or things we’re losing. Better on their end to just keep their mouths shut so people are ignorant.
