Mythicals are available in generations past their debut, but the games they're in requires you to do some "that kid" tier bullshit in order to obtain them, like how people originally said you had to do shit with the truck in Vermillion City or the rocket in Mossdeep to get Mew/Jirachi.

Give gyms some shops and/or sidequests so there is a reason to revisit them after your battle. SwSh kind of had this with the uniforms for sale but it was just the same at each one.

Well I've got a few things that I think would be neat
-More side quests would just be nice and give you a reason to go to past town and places
-Bring back Megas and Z moves. I liked both of them so having them bringing them back would be cool.
-Big pokemon should tower over you and not just big a little bit bigger like in SWSH
-More big fights agaisnt single pokemon. I liked the Totems in SM and raids in SWSH are fun when you have others with you doing them so it be cool for gamefreak to focus more in engaging battles against just one pokemon.

I would like to see a game where you play as the child of either Red or Blue and you journey through Kanto, Johto, and Sevii. It'd be cool to find out who your mom is as a big reveal or something.

Would be the Pokédex and the only available Pokémon within the game. Sevii Islands would be a kino spot to incorporate Alolan & Galarian variants, which I would just rename Sevii Island Variants. I'd put Mew on Birth Island, and have the Galarian Legendary Bird trio found there too. Also i'd bring back Spikey earred Pichu.

Full Gym (not just the leader) re-fight should be a staple, they even have the water guy to do it from. I think a rom actually does this.

As a franchise they have the potential to keep people playing and talking about the main games for as long as they want but instead is always

>then people stop playing and wait for news on the next game
