I was never a big fan of these guys, sorry, but maybe it was overexposure
>Johto
They are super cool, just great objectively good designs, I'd say they're the most likeable starters out of all, if I had to pick one set to be definitive for everyone to choose I might pick this one because everyone can enjoy them, good pals
>Hoenn
I was never a big fan of RSE but holy shit, holy fucking shit these are some god tier final evos, the first stages and midvos are mediocre to ok but the final stages are incredible, the best trio of final stage starters ever, no joke, the megas are shit thought except maybe Blaziken
>Sinnoh
I used to love these as a kid, but now I think they're sorta mediocre, while my personal favorite as a kid was the Piplup line for a long time I can now see how great the Chimchar line is, especially Infernape, best of the bunch
>Unova
Eh, could be better, I like the final stages way more than the midvos and basic forms, Snivy is the only basic form I think looks really good, Emboar is cool actually, and I'm not a big fan of how Samurott came out, could've been cooler
>Kalos
Chespin is the best basic, Braixen is the best midvo and Greninja is the bast final stage, overall a mediocre trio too though
>Alola
It's ok, not bad, Rowlet is one of my favorite basic starter forms ever, but Dartrix and Decidueye are generic, once again there is no definitive line and each one does one stage better than the others, Rowlet is best basic, Torracat is best midvo and Primarina is best last stage
>Galar
Not a big fan of these, but I can see their appeal sort of, Grookey line is decent, Scorbunny could've been cool but I'm sorry, I hate Raboot and Cinderace, maybe one of the first starters I truly dislike, I like the Sobble line personally but from a more critical standpoint it doesn't look that good
