>>47821637In singles, Gliscor can do a lot of the same stuff. It performs better against walls and stallmons at the cost of not being as good at dealing with more offensive opponents. That’s only for natdex though. Otherwise, Garchomp can sort of fill the same role as an attacker or lead just without the U-turn. There’s no Pokemon that really fills the same defensive role, Flygon could work since it has most of the same tools, but the bulk and power aren’t there and it can’t use Stealth Rock. If it’s just a Stealth Rocking Ground type with Intimidate you’re after, Krookodile can fill that void.
In VGC there’s always Lando-I, but it’s not exactly a hipster choice itself and is more a fast frail attacker than Lando-T is. Nobody really comes close to doing what Lando does, certainly not as. Ground type. But if you just want a Ground type that’s close to being as good, try Garchomp or Mamoswine.
