Just make these changes:
>Get rid of them retarded trial gates so you can explore each island in full as soon as you get there>Remove most of the road blocks (some are ok for story reasons)>Every trial on each island can be done in any order, and scale with your progress e.g. Lana, Kiawe and Mallow can be done in any order, but you can't progress to Ula'ula until you've done all three, then Sophocles and Acerola can be done in any order, but you can't progress to the Aether Paradise until you've done them both etc.>Remove all the handholding at the beginning of the game>Remove/shorten most of the dialogue at the beginning of Melemele>Unfuck Guzma's team from SM>Give Lusamine 6 Mons in the final battle>Give the E4 6 Mons in rematches>Remove the markers on the bottom screen>Add new feature where you can turn one of your Pokémon into a totem and set up your own Totem Battle for other players to challenge, you get passive money + rewards, and you can battle other's Totems to get even more>Remove Charizard from Poké Ride and replace it with a more fitting Mon, like Fearow or Skarmory
