usum kinda blew dick for me
I barely cared for the story in SM and getting railroaded even harder in USUM pissed me off. Ultra space was pretty cool but only as a legendary and shiny farm

not really, theyre both equally handholdy and padded with cutscenes
and with cutscenes, although it has new stuff which obviously creates more cutscenes, making your get your starter earlier and removing the nihilego subplot kind of almost balancing it out

It add more short ones but you do get your starter a lot faster and there's no 10 our cutscene with Tapu Koko when you first beat the league
