Why would that worry them? Broken DS’s mean more sales for new ones. Maybe, just maybe, cleaning your badges was a FEATURE in a GAME to have FUN ?

the only game that actually has a lot of double battles is emerald. for every other game, there's maybe one double battle every three routes, and maybe two multi battles against the evil team. that's it.

Beats me, but Masuda had to argue in favor of touch screen controls when other GameFreak developers were anxious about it because they didn't want the touch screen getting dirty. Masuda had to take pictures of Americans using the DS with their fingers to show them it wasn't a big deal in America.
