People were trying to boycott Masters? Either way people need to learn and accept already, you can't boycott Pokemon, it's become a self sustaining entity at this point. As long as the games facilitate Go, the anime, the cards and the manga, which in turn facilitate the merch, which loops back to getting people into the games, the series will never fail.
I mean hell, the darkest period for the series was Gen 4 and 5 and they still did the kind of numbers most devs would sacrifice their workforce to a pagan god for.
