So you'd prefer to see the Sinnoh starters again, or a boring "Arceus is cool!" boxart? There are no mascots, anyway. Rhyhorn and Staraptor stand out the most for obvious reasons, but it's really about the atmosphere.

It's a mix of mons popular from the TV show, a mix of regions, rhyhorn for the pokemon historians, bidoof for the memes and showing off the big open world.
Much prefer this than some gay legendary artwork.

No they don't. One is a Kantomon, and the other is a Hoennmon. Nothing to do with Sinnoh
If anything, they shouldn't even be on the boxart. They should be replaced with actual Sinnohmons
