What Pokemon games have you ever 100%'d before? Personally I just finished getting all trainer card stars and gold symbols in Platinum, now I'm doing all trainer card stars and a completed PWT in White 2

It is a very fun challenge for your favorite Pokemon games

And while we're on the topic, anyone know if it is doable in Emerald with a dry battery? The contests without growing berries might be tough

I completed Emerald and got the Gold Card with a dry battery, I just duped all of the berries I needed for the blender.

I’m actually doing all of the games. People go on and on about post games and extra content - stuff I never really explored growing up - so I made it a project to 100% every Pokémon Gen.

This includes completing the dex, getting max trainer card, and doing any extra side content not related to either (like the baron castle in XY). So far I’ve done Red, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, Black, Black 2, and X. As exciting as it is to do this, I’m honestly pretty bored after doing Gen 6.

I look forward to the main campaign, but doing nothing but battling and catching every Pokémon in the post game is such a drag at this point. I want to do Sun and Ultra sun together before finishing it off with swsh, but I’m burnt out at this point. I don’t know when I’ll pick it back up again.

Funny enough, I have yo Kai watch on my backlog and I’d thought about playing that before ever doing gen 7 again to get an idea of this is what TPC where scared.

well shouldn't it get easier to finish the dex each time? you are transferring aren't you? and you can just transfer your battle frontier mons to do other post game facilities

For context, I want a living regional dex and I like to have a new team for each Gen because of changing mechanics. I transfer, but that leaves only so much before I have to start catching again.

For each Gen from 3 to 6 these were my teams

Gen 3: Swampert, Latios, Metagross, Raikou, Tyranitar, and Heracross.

Gen 4: Heatran, Garchomp, Lucario, Rotom, Gyarados, and Starmie

Gen 5: Gastrodon, Scizor, Thundurus, Chandelure, Hydreigon, and Terrakion

Gen 6: Aegislash, Greninja, Rotom Mow, Arcanine, Landorus, and mega Khan.

The gen 3 is my personal favorite and probably the strongest one.

yeah swampert metagross latios seems to be THE gen 3 battle frontier team, where'd you get the raikou and TTar from FRLG?

besides all the type tournaments I think banded terrakion and sand rush drill should destroy PWT and maybe battle subway if i do that too

Yeah, I can trade mons from other games. The whole point of this project was to see how much content Gamefreak put into each respective Gen using the most definitive version. I have the remakes I just don’t know if I’ll ever include them officially in the project. Gen 5 and 7 are iffy in that there’s no true version between both releases so I just do both for how different they are. When I make these teams I try to do 2 things:

1) Whats either broken or a defining mon of that Gen.

2) what haven’t I use yet.

I don’t stress legendaries cause the ai is going to use them against me as well so it’s only fair, but I legitimately enjoy coming up with new teams for the frontier.

The swamp, Latin, meta core I got from weebster. It’s probably the easiest core to use to rack up wins because of how well they synergize/how flexible they are against the ai. Also if trading isn’t an available or your options are limited, then you can use that core by itself and do fine (had no proper Ivs, just evs and natures)

Are you the anon who finally got the Gold Factory Print? Congrats if so.
I'm currently working on 100%ing all the Gen 3-5 games I own. Most are only a few dex entries and battle facilities away from that point.

Yes, unfortunately some of those medals include Link matches. At this point, you can get away everything you can feasibly do right now. Note that the medals do not affect what level trainer card you get.

Any tips for Emerald's battle frontier? I'm emulating and don't really want to cheat, but the lack of TMs or good move tutors almost makes cloning sound tempting.
