Origins was an ad to sell genwunners on the new Pokemon game and is another victim of nonstop Chawizawd shilling. Origins also looked like fucking DOGSHIT for the majority of its run, they stuffed all the budget in the first and final episodes and made everything in between look worse than even AG filler episodes, somehow.
Generations was hilariously bad with its forced edginess and dumb shit that looked absolutely ridiculous like them trying to make us take Lance's Dragonite seriously by having it throw computers and shit.
The ORAS and BW2 trailers are good but only because they're short trailers, making them a fully animated series would just cause them to suffer the exact same issue as the mid-franchise Ashime UNLESS they considerably cut down the length to match that of a normal anime season, but then you'd complain they skipped some waifu gym leader or something.
Lastly the Ashime has genuinely sucked donkey dick until SM and beyond. Everything past I want to say Johto when they started using digital animation over cel shading has been sterile and soulless as fuck, then SM/Jouneries drops with a totally new artstyle and outstanding animation sequences like this

If we're talking about interpretations of the Pokemon world, they've been mostly consistent with varying levels of edge, but I think the Pokemon kids' shorts they've been releasing lately like the one with the girl and the Nidoran or the Slugma at the winter house are perfectly valid interpretations that could honestly fit in any Pokemon series, they simply don't match the general pacing of an average anime.
