Is there a way to get celebi in G/S/C without cheats?
Recently found out that there is a glitch to actually catch mew in R/B, is there a way to get celebi though?

The steps are definitely not easy compared to mew glitch from gen 1 though.

coin case is a bit of a learning curve, but getting the requisite pokémon is harder than actually doing the glitch. once you have what you need the only cumbersome part of the glitch is having to rename your boxes weird shit every time you want to do it

On emulator and only in Crystal, you can hex edit some progress flags in the save file since that part is not hash checked when loading the save.

you can transfer the celebi to current games with 3ds

you can also grind and try to get a shiny. i did it a few years back, took two weeks but eventually got it & now shes in my Sword game
