>>47876376Since you can catch it in XD, grab the shadow one there. After purifying it, also do Mt. Battle in the game you caught it or in Colosseum. That's another ribbon. Then move it to RSE, beat the elite 4 with it, and max out it's contest stats as best you can so you can get every contest ribbon (talk to the artist in Lilycove before starting so you can get the Artist Ribbon when you are done too.) After that, train up 2 more pokemon (Suicune and Metagross/Salamence/Snorlax are usually good) and get the 2 battle tower ribbons. That's all from 3rd gen (you can get the effort ribbon here, but you don't need to.)
After that, transfer up to dppt. No need to worry about contest stats, they carry over. Get all the contest ribbons again, as well as the happiness ribbon and the 7 daily ribbons. 3 ribbons from resort gorgeous, and another e4 ribbon here too. 6 tower ribbons, one of which is a pain to get with NWC down. You can do the DNS exploit, but since these ribbons don't even show up at the end of the journey, it's really up to you.
Newer ribbons starting in the 3ds games (you can skip gen 5, no ribbons here) are much easier and have easy to find guides. Good luck.
