Dogshit laying in your carpet is better than regional forms on steroids/Mega.

GMax is a good gimmick, both competitively and PvE. Just the animation is too long and boring at times, we deserved customizations on throws.

I hate dynamax, though I will say I am not a fan of series 10. It's easy to blame the restricted pokemon, and I absolutely do, but there's just something off about it, and I didn't feel that way about series 8 (though I didn't like series 8 either).

Yes, I like Dynamax, especially because it’s applicable to All Pokémon in the game and they provide stat boosts/lowers/terrain and weather. More Pokémon have viability that’s to it. Megas were cool for their time but overall Dynamax > Mega.

The thing about all these one game gimmicks is they don't get enough support to be interesting. Maxing would be cool if there were moves that could de-max things, or if certain moves were better against maxed opponents like the relationship between minimize and stomp, or all sorts of stuff. But because they're just in one game they never hash them out the right way.
There's a similar thing in tabletop rpgs like dnd where we talk about "feat support". Like, something could be an interesting race or class but if there's no feat support then they're not worth taking because you can't build on them or expand the idea at all.

it's okay, but I find all the various gimmicks to be pretty tiresome. I prefer it to Megas and Z-moves because your strategy can be changed up on the fly and also prefer G-max designs to basically every Mega Evolution, but I'd prefer if they were all just cut from future games completely

i like megas more just because we get cool unique designs with them instead of just making the pokemon bigger, but i'm not really sure if the gameplay is any better with megas. i think, at least gameplay-wise, i'll give it to dynamax, but only slightly

Weight based moves don’t do that vs max because it would defeat the purpose. It’s not supposed to be some thing you can counter by just slotting in a “fuck Dynamax” move, it’s meant to be a resource both people have to manage correctly.

Yeah, dumb quotefag. You do know the meaning of thematic coherence, right? Random spikes, patterns and spammed design elements arent thematic coherence but a sonicfag wouldnt get that. G-max designs are also way more imaginative than mega trite.

Yes. Giant Pokémon in the games were inevitable considering how often they turned up in other media
