Here's the thing though:
Game Freak doesn't like only working on Pokemon. For a number of reasons.

>It puts all of their eggs in one basket
>It burns out the staff to constantly only be working on Pokemon
>Sometimes you want to do new creative projects with your GAME COMPANY

Game Freak being generally inept aside, it's not really cool to deride them for wanting to do other things.

the point is that they received criticism for swsh even before it released, but they chose to ignore it and continue working on this trash project
they could've just pulled the resources from gear project temporarily to fix swsh before it released

You're right anon, if GF is burnt out on making Pokemon games, they should hand mainline development to a competent JRPG dev studio like Monolithsoft or Level 5.
