I remember the boinx and metal tazos being pretty cool because they didn't just use stock art, they had Pokemon using Moves.
I'm pretty sure it was original art too because I've never seen those renders posted online.
Some of them were pretty memorable too, like Kadabra using Role Play on Deoxys.

i recall there being tazos here in my shithole country from like 2007 that had designs from the hoenn anime, which was weird considering dp was out for a year already

I remember hearing that gen 3 merch lasted for a really long time in Europe. We still has toys with the gen 3 stuff until 2010 in Bongland and hardly any DP stuff.
