I agree with you in spirit but that’s not how it works at Game Freak/TPC. Reminder that Charizard has more fucking forms than Typhlosion has moves.

I agree. I didn't mention the forms because this is mostly marketing, but in sprit all Pokémon are intended to be as equal and important than any other else.
No doubt that if they would want to make a form of the most hated Pokémon they would do regardless the idiots who will cry over the internet

Exactly. They like their creatures, they are convinced that they have a lot of potential. And I'm sure about this as well, not gonna lie. Who knows the Pokémon that could be incredibly cool in motion if they get enough screen time to show their hidden potential, or who Pokémon would become more loved if would get a relevant role in games like Mystery Dungeon.

This is part of what's getting me excited for Legends. The fact that the starters actual have new models makes me think they're going to do something big with them.
