How much time do you spend thinking about this video game for kids and do you think it helps you in any way or just deepens your autism? A lot of you are clearly not functioning members of society

Too much. I pretty fucked up my progress in life during the pandemic with how much of the series I played. I don't think I've gone 3 days without playing a Pokemon game even since 2019, and it's only gotten worse these days.

Outside of quick Showdown battles, visiting this hell hole for like 5 mins, or for a few days whenever new games come around, not much actually

I don't as much as I used to as a kid. Back then Pokémon would be about 10% of what I would think throughout the day.
Nowadays I only think about it during release windows of new games, when there's news about the mainline games and when that random Pokémon interest comes out of nowhere a couple times every year.
I definitely am glad that my focus for the franchise was dedicated to the mainline games alone and something much more recurring like the anime, TCG or competitive play.
