Anon, why do you think we've only been shown renders of the Starters and MCs and not official art? Why do you think only Legends has new Sugi artwork? Why do you think this is literally the first main title games to not have the Sugi artwork on them?

Sugimori has not been the person producing the vast majority of the official Pokemon artwork in YEARS. BDSP went with a different look for the promo art because otherwise it'd be all the same promo art they used 15 years ago to promote the original games.

Turner ALSO doesn't do that. That's not Turner's job, he rarely produces official pokemon artwork in the standardized Sugimori style except for when he does model sheets. Do you understand that there are multiple artists working at gamefreak all trained to produce artwork in the same style?

Legends does not have a multiplayer component. BDSP is possible but (without Megas) its a less interesting version of what's available in SWSH with dynamax turned off (Dynamax is currently not available in VGC rules for the next couple of months, so we're already seeing that format being played on twitch).
