>>47912008The game starts around a trainer academy instead of your hometown, and the reason why you start adventuring is because you have a 5 week assignment where you're supposed to raise some 'mons and work towards getting your first gym badge, but you do so damn well that the teach decides to authorize you to continue on till you hit a wall and can't continue.
You become champion, obv. graduate from the school (what the fuck do they think they're gonna teach the new champ)
also there's a secret bad end where you can let the game run for 5 weeks without beating the first gym and be expelled from the academy
