I dig the super unusual and interesting design, and honestly Dragon Type has always had bullshit justifications in Pokemon like the Dragon Force from that one movie, but the names of the new Regi bother me.

So what's the problem? The old names were literally just Regi + Type except Ice where the I is shared because it wouldn't sound right otherwise. The new names are not the names of the types they represent. For whatever reason, Regilectric isn't fine, but instead of dropping the E in Eleki and just having it be Regileki, it has double vowels and looks weird now even though it would've sounded the same without it. Regidrago is closer to fine, except they chose to shorten Dragon to Drago. Is this the Drag Queen Regi? Remember that famous Dragon Type Move? It isn't Drago Meteor. It is Draco Meteor. It should've been Regidragon, but if they had to shorten it, then it should've instead been Regidraco. Expecting consistency over a long real life period is foolish sure, but at least make it look like you put some actual thought into the final names you decide on.
