<INTRO> Pokémon CEO Ishihara is sitting at his desk as the 'Kanto Pokémon Gym' theme plays in the background. He says the usual hi, thanks for tuning in, and happy 25th Pokémon anniversary. "Today we have a lot of news to reveal to you all, but first let's recap on what we have enjoyed since we spoke last." [1 Minutes]
<RECAP> Showcase of Pokémon Unite, Snap, the Snap update, and all of the other 3rd party Pokémon stuff that has been released in 2021. Ishihara returns to the screen and says this year has been quite a ways forward for Pokémon in several new directions. He then says it's important to remember our roots, and that BDSP will help us do that. He then switches over the presentation to the director of BDSP, Mr. Junichi Masuda. [4
Minutes]
<MASUDA/BDSP> "Hello, I am Junichi Masuda, and I am the director of the titles Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Working alongside ILCA inc., I have helped to recreate the cherished games Gamefreak first launched on the Nintendo DS 15 years ago for the Nintendo Switch, of which I was also the director for. Let's now take a look at these faithfully redone remakes." D/P are shown on the screen for 15 seconds and it then transforms into BDSP, looking updated as it did in the OLED Switch commercial. We see the beginning of the game with you watching the Gyarados news presentation, getting your first starter, battling your rival, walking around Jubilife, Oreburgh, and Floaroma Town, battling Maylene's Lucario, at Team Galactic headquarters with Cyrus, and finally Dialga and Palkia roaring as they appear at what we assume to be Sky Pillar. We then see the screen change to show the old Wi-Fi connection logo from the DS titles, and then we are introduced to the revamped minigames from the original titles in their upgraded multiplayer forms: Poffin Making, Underground, and a new feature that replaces the Game Corner at Veilstone.
