Nintendo phased out touch screen gimmicks in favour of 3D gimmicks on the 3DS and the Switch can't use its touch screen in TV mode. I like Ranger but it's just a touch screen gimmick game and there's simply no console that can properly play it right now.

Story was really good for a spinoff. Feels kind of wasted for them to abandon it after the third game
