Don't know about that yet. Narratively, it doesn't seem like being a trainer is commonplace in the region and people see Pokemon as scary creatures. If online battling makes it in though, it'll have all the conventional makings of a regular mainline entry despite being a single-version release.

That was Ranked battles. Those aren't being included in either Legends or the BDSP games. They'll be continuing in Sword and Shield.

Yeah what the last guy said. I'm sure there'll be some kind of interactive battles and trading, but they won't be the official tool for measuring VGC progress.

Well yeah but they also don't mention anything about online battles in the website and only speaks of trading. Which makes little sense since theres only one version of this game. So what are we gonna trade for? What's the incentive?
