Devs figured out they couldn't use bloom and smear to cover up shitty graphics back in the mid 00s, why are we pretending this looks good? Literally just emulate platinum.

Significantly better than I expected. I'm still cautious though, overworld looks pretty barren, and it could still end up something with like 200 mons total. I haven't bought or played a pokemon game since Y though, and if this continues to show a bit of promise, I may actually pick it up.
