I genuinely don't get it, how the fuck did HGSS add so much shit, having everything that Crystal added, plus a whole fucking massive amount of extra shit that wasn't in the base game like the extra routes, the insanely revamped Safari Zone, Pokeathalon, Pokewalker, Battle Frontier, the little extra touches like the Retro Music player or Pokemon following you or the shiny leaves, the commemorative photos, the portable berry pots, the revamped box legendary encounter, the special event with Celebi, Arceus, and Pichu. Even FRLG did really good with the insane amount of content they shoved into the Sevii Isles, but like, god ORAS was lackluster in comparison, and the amount of improvements it cut that emerald had was ridiculous, like being able to rebattle gym leaders, elite four, and special trainers, and like wow all the crazy amount of stuff they had added with Battle Frontier like it really hurt the game that being removed, and just a ton more misc improvements, and like yeah Soaring and the Little Islands were kinda neat but the RNG nature of them were frustrating, Delta Episode was kinda just whatever, and the Legendary encounters just being "walk up to a hole" were really lazy. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the improvements from Platinum were cut.
What I really don't get though, is like people really do want Battle Frontier back, with how endgame focused the Expansion Pass was, how the fuck have they never thought to bother with doing a Battle Frontier DLC or some shit?
