I think BDSP being so close to Legends is going to hurt its sales. But in the long run it won't really matter since they look dramatically cheaper to produce. Legends is the new hotness, it'll be pretty embarrassing if it doesn't do similar numbers to SwSh.

I'd say it's the opposite. BDSP just has wider mass appeal than Legends. BDSP is the game that parents wants to give their children and is a great way to introduce newcomers to the franchise while Legends is to appeal to the existing fanbase.
