By “moves”, do they mean priority moves? Or will all moves have their own Speed stat now like TemTem? How will accuracy work?

Yes and also agility type can change the speed of a move in return of less dmg

You pick between two different attack styles. Agile style attacks are weaker, but increase your aciton speed.

And Strong style attacks are stronger, but decreae your action speed.

Basically, it's the philosophy behind Urshifu's forms applied to all Pokemon.

i like this a lot, good way to flesh out the combat without going totally off the rails and making it an action game. having different ways to use the same moves also makes a lot of sense, anything that adds depth to the combat is an improvement

I kind of hope there are some action elements they haven’t revealed. Like maybe a real-time option to dodge attacks. Kinda lame for an Action RPG to use turn-based combat.
