I think BDSP looks charming, but the problem with it is that it's not a consistent art style, since in battles it shifts to what we've basically had with SM/USUM, SwSh and soon Legends Arceus and it's annoying to have that inconsistency

The difference is that we're on the other side of it and so the game has had time to be forgotten by the majority and everybody who liked it got the final say. It also sold really really really fucking well despite having hardly any new content from the original and originally being a 3DS game from everything people have been able to tease out of it
