But that's GF's fault for not knowing how to take advantage of his own creatures inside the games (or just because the game mechanics don't allow the complexity of some designs shine).
If you ask someone who loves a generally unloved Pokémon I'm pretty sure they will show you thousand ways to make that Pokémon the best one in the series.
