>>47948750You may be right. I remember when Pokémon GO came out I was at a bar and every fucking person there was playing that game while talking or drinking. And I'm pretty confident that my friend and I were the only people in that bar that actually played Pokémon past middle school and maybe even played video games. It was definitely a surreal experience back in 2016 walking around everywhere and seeing every other adult playing Pokémon in public, the same people who used to tease me about still playing Pokémon in high school. I'm not bitter about it, I think it just goes to show the power that Pokémon still has over normies and you're right they will just keep chasing nostalgia. This game probably will sell really well and then just be forgotten a month out, and then the normie complaints will slowly trickle out about how they didn't recognize some of the Pokémon, kids don't know how good we had it, I really wish the game was more open, where was the DLC... That kind of shit that normies bitch about
