Type match-ups have never mattered to legendaries. In the new season, a Moltres fights Ash's Pikachu and Infernape, Goh's Cinderace, and Gary's Blastoise and Electivire in a Raid Battle, and the only one that faints before before Moltres flees is Blastoise.
