Left’s shaders probably have enough going on that they’d tank the framerate in real time and only work in a prerendered scene.

I am not saying they have to be like that, but this is gamefreak. They game wont be optimized. A gamefreak with heavy visual stuff going on beneath the hood just isnt gonna perform well.
