I wish this wasn't the highest of probabilities. On the one hand, they expanded the underground into something that's actually worth spending more than 10min in.

But on the other hand, things like the Galactic HQ implies that the story improvements and extra areas don't exist.
But who knows. Maybe we'll be surprised with a reveal that the Spear Pillar bit gets interrupted by Giratina like in Platinum, but just interrupting his summoning of the box legend... But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that reveal. Not with this company.

It's only inferior if you actually play the battle frontier, which for this fanbase, is in the vast minority. I'm willing to bet most of the people whining about it now never even got any of the prints.
