The point that OTHERS like myself argue is this: even if bw shares elements of the game with xy, they are done differnetly, and in my opinion, done better in BW. Just having a similar thing on paper doesn't show how that featue=re was done better or worse
for example: gym leaders with three pokemon
it is theoretically possible to have gym leaders with 3 mons while retaining the difficulty of having more, like previous gens. THE REASON you consider less mons bad is because, in our mind, that means it is easier. But the point is BW gyms were not any easier than gyms before it, partly because stuff like the AI was better than previous gym leaders, or some type of team gimmick to spice it up like Elesa. There was something to counteract the easiness of less mons, thus making the 3 mon battle as hard as previous 4 mon battles. XY did the 3 mons, but there was no checking of that to keep it as difficult. Therefore, 3 mons is a con of XY, but not necessarily of BW. MANY other points against Unova particularly arguments defleced from criticizing Kalos) have a similar excuse. Yet people tally them as a shared negative when they are not.
