I know we should expect more, but it's already been established that gamefreak is incredibly inexperienced as developers but this is a significant improvement since when they last shown the game. at least in terms of frame rates. but visually this is a step up from sword and shit and they took a slightly different direction for the gameplay. Overall I'm actually looking forward to this game. Even if it could be better- it always could be. I wish gamefreak enlisted the help of other studios for development for their mainline games. I don't understand why they haven't even tried until the DiaPer remakes.
