Good question. I played Platinum a lot but somehow the OST just didn't stick with me like GSC's songs did. Maybe the place where I used to play was too loud.

I dropped the series at crystal as a kid, and played like the first three gyms of platinum before bw came out to try and catch up so these games have a weird like "young adult" nostalgia for me

One of my biggest problems is the low number of fire types.I love sinnoh but its the only region where i chose my starter based on what i need in my team(i like torterra a lot but i hate having typings repeat in my team and garchomp is always on my team.)

Never completed the game as a kid, but I had fun. The GTS globe was amazing, it should come back.

The Lake themes almost hurt to listen to. So somber. They're not masterpieces of music or anything, but context for vidya music often shapes the feelings they elicit.

I've never understood the hate for Mt Coronet as a route/dungeon. Pokemon needs large elaborate areas to explore through. The mystery of the world itself is part of the appeal. A handful of small children who didn't pack an escape rope is a small price to pay.
