Same, I want ride pokemon in general to be like lgpe where it's your pokemon instead of a rental. Just make it so that when using fly opens up the map you can hit a button to enter soaring mode instead of selecting a destination. The various hms only need overworld animations for the pokemon that can learn them and half the time the pokemon's walk/run cycle will do, such as most fish already just swim in the air or flying pokemon already being in the air.
