>>47968789The Abra line is insanely minmaxed, Abra itself has a higher Special (and later Sp.Atk) than Mew by 5 points which is just funny for a stage 1 Pokemon.
And you usually find it pretty early in the games, they balance the line out by making Abra a pain in the ass to catch, as well as train since you'll likely feed it TMs or use exp.share until it evolves
